Discover Pant y March with Feather Down

Merionethshire (Meirionnydd in Welsh) is one of thirteen historic counties of Wales. The coastline consists mostly out of cliffs and stretches of sand. It is the most mountainous in Wales, with part of the Snowdonia National Park within it. The area is truly a paradise for those that enjoy cycling, hiking, and other outdoor activities! All of this can be experienced close by whenever you decide to stay in this breathtaking part of Wales.

Visit some of the castles that this area of North Wales has to offer such as Conwy Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Penrhyn Castle, or simply plan a day out to either Snowdon Mountain Railway or Zip World for the little ones. Those that are more into relaxing days can stretch out on the deckchair taking in the fresh sea breeze at one of the many beaches Meirionnydd has to offer.

Spend your family holiday glamping at Pant y March

Pant y March Farm is set high on the mountainside overlooking Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) -the largest lake in Wales - Yr Aran, Arenig Fawr and other peaks in Snowdonia. The location of the two exclusive and luxurious Feather Down Frills Lodges is truly jaw-dropping, with far-reaching lake views. Due to its mountainous location, the farm is a peaceful haven, where younger visitors are safe to roam freely. After a day of exploring, you can view the sunset shimmering in the lake viewed from your private hot tub.

At just a 20-minute walk you'll have reached Lake Bala, ready for a summer swim session. Also available further afield is the canoeing centre at Tryweryn or the Coed y Brenin biking forest 8 miles away. Most certainly worth a visit would be Bounce Below indoor cave trampoline experience just 45 minutes away, or indoor surfing at the centre in Conwy, 1 hour away.
