Treganhoe Farm

Information Treganhoe Farm

The location of Treganhoe Farm is hard to beat, nestled as it is in the heart of the West Cornwall peninsula in easy reach of beaches such as Marazion, Sennen cove, Porthcurno and Gwenver, which are all less than 15 minutes away. The prime location means that there are stunning views over the reservoir and open countryside to be enjoyed on this Cornwall luxury glamping getaway.

Activities on the farm:

There is always something happening on a working farm – feeding, silage making and a lot more – so there’s plenty for the children to see. On the tour of the farm, early in your stay, you will be introduced to the cattle and the other animals on the farm including pigs and chickens.

Explore the area:

The countryside beyond the farm is dramatic and the options of things to do are varied. The West Cornwall climate is mild so spending time on any of the beautiful beaches on the north or south coast is always an option, either swimming, building sand castles or even surfing. If you like walking there are many walks both coastal and inland. Land’s End is only 20 minutes away, and the amazing open-air Minack Theatre, built in the cliff next to Porthcurno beach, is just 8 miles away. Why not see a performance there, snuggled under blankets looking out over the sea?

If you are looking to explore the towns of Penzance and St Ives are close, and the fishing port of Newlyn is 10 minutes away. Just along the coast is one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall, Mousehole. There are National Trust gardens in the area and St Micheal’s Mount, the famous tidal island, is just off Marazion beach in Mount’s Bay. The north coast offers more rugged countryside and is where Poldark was filmed. West Cornwall is steeped in history and there are many ancient monuments including Lanyon Quoit and the Men an Tol, plus the remains of the tin mining industry, including the silhouettes of the wheelhouses.
