A glamping holiday on the farm in East Hampshire

East Hampshire is home to the historic city of Winchester, has spectacular hills of the South Downs, and the lovely chalk streams and water meadows of the Meon Valley. East Hampshire has a lot to offer visitors to rural Hampshire. Other than breath-taking views of the countryside, you'll also find unspoilt villages, nature reserve, and heritage sites.

Hidden away between cathedral cities of Winchester and Chichester, East Hampshire is great for walking, cycling, and horse-riding. Invigorating long distance trails and routes through ancient woodlands and out to the top of the Downs. There is plenty to be explored that will entertain both young and old on your family glamping holiday!

Spend your family holiday glamping at Manor Farm

In August 2006, Anna and Will opened the UK’s first Feather Down farm, Manor Farm. Only an hour from London, it remains a tranquil oasis of calm within the South Downs National Park, a classic English landscape of rolling hills and sunken lanes. Guests young and old are always delighted by the farm buggy which they can join to check on the animals. Many of the guests find the campsite environment so relaxing they rarely venture outside of it. In this rural paradise, there is still luxury to be enjoyed! Sit out in your private hot tub looking up at the stars or in a ‘frills’ tent with an ensuite shower.

Wandering off-site, there are great local pubs within walking distance, including the Three Horseshoes in East Worldham. For those who love a dip, there’s wild swimming at Frensham Ponds. For a more traditional paddle, West Wittering and Hayling Island is only an hour away. Alice Holt Forest has walking trails and bike hire for all ages! Go Ape in the Treetops for juniors and adults. Thomas the Tank Engine often visits the Watercress Line, and another book-based attraction is Jane Austen’s charming house in neighbouring Chawton. Climbing the Zig Zag in Selborne is worth it for the view, and the New Forest and Peppa Pig World are also easily accessible.
